Why we founded Regenerative Leaders: Daniela’s Answer

When I look back on the last five years today, I have to smile. It really feels like Lisa and I have been magically brought together – first in individual, then in shared experiences to create something that inspires and encourages others to become *Regenerative Leaders themselves.
To share a little of our journey with you, we are writing up our reasons for starting *Regenerative Leaders.
Here are my three main reasons:
1) My own health journey
For many years, I have observed how I repeatedly push my resources to the brink of exhaustion, only to retreat and seek relaxation in the tranquility of nature, by the sea – far away from the stressful everyday life in the big city. It is a constant cycle in which I try to harmonize my professional life and my health capacity in such a way that I can be powerful and joyfully creative in the long term. Although I still only manage to feel completely balanced in phases, my hunger for life drives me to gather as many experiences as possible while we have life. Being diagnosed with pyrolluria about 15 years ago further emphasized how important it is that I take it down a notch – advice that has been emphasized time and time again by numerous doctors and healers.
My path since those 15 years has been to set myself up in a way that suits me and my biorhythm. That when I wake up in the morning and realize I’m weak today, I have the opportunity to make more time in the day for activities that are on the resting side for me. And to be productive and active on days when I feel full of energy. For the first few years, I tried my hand at 50% activities in organizations. This was also because I was still strongly guided by the belief that it was important to have security, a regular income, paid health insurance, etc. And time and again I found myself in situations where 50% became 80%, 100% or even 120%. As a result, I let go of all my fixed obligations to others.
Today I am completely self-employed. With my own projects in which I can organize my time flexibly, with people who, like me, have the attitude and appreciate it when you are authentic, communicate when the energy for a productive meeting is not there and you would rather postpone the meeting or at least keep it short than “go through with it” against your own well-being. Even though I can and do still do that when it matters. Even though it wasn’t easy for me at the beginning to accept and admit to myself that my body dictates how much I can do and when, I am now happy and grateful for the freedom and creativity that my diagnosis has given me. Because it has allowed me to find out what suits me and my personal journey. Like now, for example, *Regenerative Leaders.
2) The change in the professional market
In recent years, the demand for leadership coaching and team building has changed noticeably. In the past, the focus was increasingly on organizational development, target agreements and team coordination. However, as a psychologist, I have recently gained a large number of new inquiries and clients because I put people themselves – with a focus on resilience, mental health and personal development – at the heart of my consulting.
Since the pandemic, many of us have found life increasingly stressful and challenging. On various levels, we are struggling more than ever to find a balance to our stressful everyday lives and the depressing events in the world.
The question of how we deal with the various crises and recognize that we as individuals are part of them is becoming increasingly urgent. How do we manage to find sufficient balance and relaxation without work getting on top of us and the feeling of powerlessness taking over?
As leaders, we need to consider how we can support our employees and teams and create the conditions they need to feel safe and supported, while providing enough direction to be efficient and successful. We need to lead our companies and organizations into a positive future despite the growing crises and continue to provide services and products that improve people’s lives.
3) Lisa’s and my journey together
Lisa and I met five years ago at the Holistic Vision Symposium, which is organized by the LeCiel Foundation. Every year, 144 selected people from all over the world come together to work on the blueprints for a sustainable world. In this work, we combine the knowledge of our ancestors and elders with modern technologies to develop effective activities and methods. Our meeting at this conference was a sign that the seeds for our current collaboration had already been sown.
At that conference I was in a group with Lisa’s now husband Franz. He invited me to join SEEDS, a regenerative cryptocurrency and community that Lisa, Franz and I built over the next three years. We developed and ran the Academy for the Ambassadors, integrated hundreds of people and their projects into the community and started joint projects to regenerate land, villages and a fairer world.
Over the last few years, we have had countless conversations about what it will take to make this world liveable for all in the future. We have met and learned from hundreds of experts, have grown from these experiences and have always passed on our knowledge.
Lisa and I have gone our own separate ways as healers – Lisa has completed training as a doula, while I have studied mediumship and various healing methods more intensively.
When Lisa and Franz received a grant for digital and regenerative development from the country of Liechtenstein last year, we both quickly realized that we wanted to bring together our knowledge, our shared experiences and the experts we have met along the way in a format that we could make available to others who are also interested in how we can create a world in which everyone is healthy and happy, passionate and creative about the topics that inspire them.
We are targeting people who see themselves as leaders in their lives, whether as leaders of a company, an organization or as leaders in their community. We understand a leader to be someone who takes responsibility for their actions. In our ideal new world, everyone takes responsibility for themselves, and we take care of each other.
In our community, the Regenerative Leaders, we exchange ideas on how this can be achieved, and our experts offer knowledge transfer and learning experiences that prepare us to fulfill this responsibility with joy.
I am deeply grateful for the connection with Lisa and our growing network of experts. We are excited about each and every person who joins us on this journey. We don’t know how this journey will unfold and where it will lead, but we are confident that with mutual support and a willingness to learn and evolve, we will continue to unleash potential to use the challenges we face as opportunities to learn and grow.
The New World has already begun. Are you part of it?
We look forward to welcoming you to *Regenerative Leaders!
